Representatives from accounting firm DiPerna Associates, Lea DiPerna, Megan Moore, & Jessica Buchenholz, will present a discussion on managing finances while working and earning income as a creative artist. The aim is to help simplify the seemingly complex task of tax preparation for artists in the entertainment industry. Topics to be covered include: differentiating income streams and how they are taxed, good record keeping practices and basic bookkeeping, and minimizing tax liability by tracking applicable expenses. A brief Q&A will follow.
The discussion is free and open to all. To reserve a spot, RSVP to Conversations@SDCweb.org.
