On Thursday March 3, 2016, SDCF will host a special Roundtable discussion with casting directors Lisa Donadio (Playwrights Horizons) and Paul Davis (Calleri Casting). This event provides an opportunity to learn more about how casting directors work with directors and choreographers.

Lisa Donadio: Lisa is the Associate Casting Director at Playwrights Horizons. Credits include: Clybourne Park (B’way and PH), The Flick (Barrow Street and PH), Hir, Bootycandy, The Qualms, Detroit, Circle, Mirror, Transformation, Stage Kiss, Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, Rapture Blister Burn, Present Laughter with Victor Garber for The Huntington Theatre and Roundabout. TV credits include: Knights of Prosperity aka Let’s Rob Mick Jagger (ABC). Other theaters include: Women’s Project, Huntington Theatre, Seattle Rep, ACT in San Francisco, Berkeley Rep, Alley Theatre, Arena in DC. Festivals: Humana and Williamstown.

Paul Davis: Calleri Casting (James Calleri, Paul Davis, Erica Jensen, Geoff Josselson) Recent Broadway: Hedwig & The Angry Inch, The Elephant Man, The Visit, Living on Love. Also Casting for Classic Stage Company, Long Wharf, Keen Company, Rattlestick, Playwrights Realm, TV: The Path (upcoming for Hulu) Film: I Origins, Another Earth, That’s What She Said.
