Is it true that Full Members may be granted permission to videotape a rehearsal? | Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation

Yes. According to the SDC agreement with AEA, subject to approval from both unions, a Director or Choreographer may videotape a final run-through in the rehearsal room with no costumes or props. This tape may be used for notation purposes only and may only be viewed by members of the creative team. Videotaping requests MUST be made at least TWO WEEKS prior to requested taping date.

Founded in 1965, Stage Directors and Choreographers Workshop Foundation (SDCF) exists to foster, promote and develop the creativity and craft of stage directors and choreographers.
