Shadowing – Bad Cinderella with JoAnn M. Hunter
This opportunity lets you shadow Choreographer JoAnn M. Hunter during technical rehearsals for Bad Cinderella for three weeks on Broadway in New York City

Shadowing – Hamilton with Hannah Ryan
This opportunity lets you shadow Resident Director Hannah Ryan on Hamilton: An American Musical Broadway in New York City for two weeks in January 2023

Observership – Sweeney Todd with Thomas Kail
This opportunity will have someone observing Thomas Kail on the Broadway production of the musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street in New York City starting January 2023.

FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Fellowship: Young Americans with Desdemona Chiang
This opportunity allowed someone to be a Fellow to Director Desdemona Chiang for the world premiere production of Young Americans by Lauren Yee. This is a co-production between Portland Center Stage and Pittsburgh Public Theater. The Fellow for this production would be with the show at both locations.

Fellowship: Private Lives with KJ Sanchez
This opportunity lets you be a Fellow to Director KJ Sanchez on Arizona Theatre Company’s production of Private Lives in Tucson, Arizona starting March 2023.

Additional information: This Fellowship opportunity is an ideal opportunity for an early career director specifically interested in learning more about directing a new vision of a classical production. This production of Privates Lives will be set in Argentina with an all-Latine cast and include tango dancing as well. Housing is included in this opportunity.
Please note that since Arizona Theatre Company operates in Tucson and Phoenix, there will be five additional days when the production transfer to Phoenix, AZ after the Fellowship (May 10th – May 13th). There is potential for extension for the Fellow to participate in those additional days to be discussed with finalists at a later date. The focus of this Fellowship will be the dates listed above and for the production process in Tucson.
