Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, Local USA 829, Studio School of Design and TSDCA will be hosting their annual in-person director/choreographer-designer networking event in NYC!

Monday, September 28th – Studio 1418 – 307 West 38th Street, Room 1701

2pm -4pm : One-on-one meetings between director/choreographers and designers.

4pm – 5pm Open mixer for all!

Meet fellow theatermakers, network, and discover future collaborators or reconnect with friends! This is a free three hour event: two hours of one-on-one meetings between director/choreographers and designers, followed by a one hour open mix and mingle. It’s open to designers, directors, and choreographers at all stages of their careers, and participants do not need to be members of SDC or USA 829 to attend. 

SPACE IS LIMITED – Please sign up by September 18th.  There is a cap of attendees for the one-on-one portion due to the organizational needs of the event, so submit your form soon. Given the interest over the years and our limited capacity, for this year’s event we will be prioritizing those who have not been able to attend in person before. After that we’ll fill slots in sign-up order. All are invited to attend the open mixer, whether they attended or were on the waitlist.

THE ONE -ON-ONE PORTION IS A TWO HOUR EVENT. If you participate in this part, we ask that you stay the whole time. ASL interpreters are available for this series. To help us book the right number of interpreters, please let us know if you would use this resource by September 18th, 2026.
