THE BARBARA WHITMAN AWARD
Honors an outstanding director with a $10,000 unrestricted prize to support and elevate their artistic work.
THE ZELDA FICHANDLER AWARD
Honors a director or choreographer for outstanding regional theatre work and community impact with a $5,000 unrestricted gift.
THE JOE A. CALLAWAY AWARD
Honors outstanding Off-Broadway directing and choreography each season, with recipients selected by a committee of peer directors and choreographers.
THE GORDON DAVIDSON AWARD
Recognizes a director or choreographer for lifetime achievement and distinguished service in the regional theatre nationally.
THE "MR ABBOTT" AWARD
Bestowed through SDCF by a committee of Directors and Choreographers to one of their peers, is named in honor of renowned director George Abbott and is presented to a director or choreographer in recognition of lifetime achievement.
